Hallgruppen offer considerably better insulation meaning it’s easier and cheaper to maintain the required working temperatures. The life expectancy of the technical textile is shorter though, around 25 to 30 years (Hallgruppen offers thicker stronger PVC), but can be easily replaced if the need arises. A fabric covered structure requires very little maintenance. However, for best practice, it could be periodically checked for loose or damaged seams, tears or slits in the fabric, or any signs of moisture/water ingress. And an annual check of gutters (if fitted) is very sensible to things working well – leaves will build up. We offer a service and maintenance contract if you’d like us to check & maintain.
